WHAT CAN I DO WITH PET BOTTLES?

Among all the materials i collected. PET bottles were one of the most common. During the earlier stages of experimentations, I discovered that the PP 5 and LDPE 4 plastics (straw, cups, bags) melted the best. Whereas, for PET bottles and HDPE 2 plastics, they do melt, however, they cool down quick turning into solid pieces. For PET bottles, the solid pieces then does not react to heat anymore once it solidifies.

Researching and gathering ideas on what are the possibilities out there. There were several ideas online with regards to the creative upcycling/ reusing of plastic bottles:

1) Micaella Pedros: artist used PET bottles to join wood together to form furnitures.

2) Plastic bottle cutter that allows you to transform PET bottles into strong ropes and other household stuffs.

Tested out the shrinking bottle technique to see if it holds the wood planks together.
