LEGO SILICON MOULDS
I was quite intrigued with building the lego moulds. There was an element of play in it if i was able to recreate and mass produce in quantity. Or i could possibly build my own utopia from the recycled plastic moulds.
The only issue was, with the first try of the moulds. The bottom had holes which might not be good for plastic to be melted in. Hence i attempted to cover up the holes. I created the first layer.
Added a second layer to cover up the holes
The end results. IT WORKED!!
I wanted to be able to capture the detail of the entire blocks so that it is actually functional and can be joined.
I repeated the same process as the first, but only i filled it to the brim covering all the legoes.
The areas which i did not want to be filled was covered using blu-tack.
I tried to cut the mould into half so i could melt the plastics on it and cover over like a press mould (ideally)
Created a singular back detail of the lego for experimentation purposes.
