COMPRESSION BOX MOULD

I was introduced to another student's project which involved the use of a form box to create toy moulds. To create vacuumed plastic moulds almost instantly. I was surprised to know that the faculty actually owns one :D

Long story cut short, I decided to create a mould to see what it could possibly do for my project. I did not know what to mould so i grabbed a piece of wood block and created a cast.

I was surprised at how much details were captured using this box! Every single grains and detail on the wood block was captured !

As my main practice involved a lot of heating, the mould might not be of much use in the project :(
